Entanglement is an ongoing digital comic by Benjamin Andrew that explores the web of connections between plants, pollinating insects, and humans. Presented through a unique website, the story dramatizes the parallels between the internet and the biological networks plants use to communicate and share resources. A solitary bee named Mason discovers natural — and unnatural — secrets by listening closely to the signals emanating from plants. Readers can follow the story through each new chapter, and even suggest pollinator gardens in Centre county that the characters can investigate.

Entanglement was displayed at the Bellefonte Museum of Art during the summer months of 2024 as part of an exhibition about pollinator insects. Visitors could mark the map with stickers to suggest pollinator gardens that Mason the bee could visit in upcoming chapters of the comic.
