People’s Production at Penn State

peoples-production

Over the course of three weeks in October, I produced a crowd-sourced movie at Penn State University during a residency in the Borland Project Space. Over one hundred students, staff, and faculty contributed to the story, acting, and audio recording for the film, producing a schizophrenic B-movie that will premiere in the Spring of 2018.

The project was described in the Centre Daily Times  as “a mad scientist’s experiment in storytelling” and photographers from the student-led Collegian were on hand at each of the three workshops to document the proceedings.

Full documentation will be coming soon, but in the mean time check out the dedicated project website for an overview of the project or follow @peoplesproduction on Instagram.
